Dementia Support Talk
Betsy Warburton, BSN, MSN returns to address dementia. Betsy specializes in supporting older adults living with dementia—particularly those who are striving to remain independent alongside their spouses or partners.
This type of session can be incredibly valuable for both residents and their loved ones, as it empowers them with tools to:
· Better understand cognitive changes
· Reduce stress and uncertainty in daily routines
· Improve communication and safety at home
· Extend their ability to continue living within your community
Betsy will be speaking in the Great Room at 10:30 AM. Refreshments will be provided. VCA members are encouraged to invite outside guests.
Open House
The Marketing Committee is hosting an open house for our Co-Op.
The hours will be 10am-2pm.
Volunteers are needed to greet people and talk with them if a tour is taking place at that time. Let a member of the Marketing Committee know if you can volunteer and also the time you could be available.
Use this address in your calendar app as a subscribed calendar (iCalendar / .ics feed). Most apps call it “Subscribe” or “From URL”—paste the same link Google or Apple asks for.
Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar in a browser.
- Next to Other calendars, open the plus (+) menu and choose From URL.
- Paste the link above and add the calendar. Updates sync automatically on a schedule.
Apple Calendar
- Mac: In Calendar, choose File → New Calendar Subscription…, paste the link, then click Subscribe.
- iPhone / iPad: Open Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, then paste the link.
Note: Calendar subscriptions are typically read-only and may take some time to refresh depending on the calendar app (Usually every 8-12 hours).
