Board Meetings
The Board meets quarterly. RR owners are welcome to attend the quarterly meetings, especially if they have a specific agenda item or issue that they want to discuss with the Board. Your attendance (along with any specific issue you may want addressed) should be coordinated in advance of the meeting (meeting time, date, and venue will be posted on our website). Contact us here.
Meetings are generally held at a Board member’s home and are usually scheduled for the second Tuesday of the second month of each quarter (i.e., in February, May, August, and November). However, these dates frequently change based on members' schedules.
We strongly encourage you to attend the Annual Meeting for all residents/owners which is held in late January/February of each year. Priorities and initiatives for the year are set, the budget is presented for community input and approval, and votes are tallied for Board positions.
Volunteering
Our Board is self-managed and depends almost entirely on volunteers from our community.
We are in regular need of volunteers to assist with a variety of duties that makes the association work. These include service on the RRCA Board of Directors, where we have regular vacancies both for officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer), and members-at-large. These positions generally have a two-year term.
Additional opportunities for service might include the Architectural Control Committee or (re)starting our Social Committee. There may be other work you want to see done, like disaster preparedness planning. Whatever your talents, we can certainly find a position that won’t consume your life, but will allow you to contribute to the community.
