Residents-

Over the past month, we have had two different mattresses left at each dumpster. Tempe township does NOT haul away bulk from our dumpsters. Each time bulk trash is left near our dumpster, it becomes an expense for every homeowner as it reduces our available revenue for much-needed repairs because the HOA then needs to pay for the items to be hauled away.

We kindly ask that any large items such as mattresses, furniture, appliances, etc. are disposed of by each homeowner or tenant, if applicable, properly. If you have tenants, please make sure this message is also shared with them.

The following options for bulk trash are available:

1. Transfer station - Tempe residents have access to a transfer station to dispose of up to 1,000 pounds of material, once per month, at no additional charge. Address: Sky Harbor Regional Transfer Station, 2425 S. 40th Street, Phoenix. [Take a utility bill or other bill with you to demonstrate Tempe residency]; or

2. Calling a Junk Removal Service

Please note that the Rio Ventana HOA Board has evaluated the budget and decided that an increase for 2026 is needed. Therefore, effective January 1, 2026, the monthly dues has been increased from $190.00 to $200.00. Please adjust your payments accordingly.
