New Website for Loma Linda
You’ll be receiving this information in a series of emails, but in case you want to read ahead, here is the full “Get Acquainted” picture of our new website. We hope you find benefit and ease of use in our new presence.
EMAIL 1
GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE - Welcome
Dear Loma Linda Property Owner,
As a distraction from watching helicopters and packing “go bags,” we are pleased to bring you a new presence for Loma Linda on the web.
lomalindapagosa.com
Because our current website was built several years ago, it was developed on a structure that is difficult for laypeople -- like your Board members -- to understand and manage. We have engaged a company called EasyHOA to provide a better web presence for us.
But it is not just because your Board members needed help managing the website. This new site also gives you, as a property owner, increased capabilities.
1. You are going to be able to pay your dues online and to set up auto pay, so you never have to remember to write that check again.
2. There is an online directory, so that you can interface with your neighbors and friends. Add a picture, change your contact information, decide what info you want to share. (Or decide to exclude yourself from the directory altogether.)
3. Get easy access to news and event dates.
4. As your Board members get better acquainted with the capabilities of the site, we may add online form submissions, text messaging, and more.
We think this is a win/win for the Board and for you!
Over the next several days, we will send you emails acquainting you with features of the site so that you can get the most from it.
Please note that you may need to refresh your browser, or even close your browser and clear the cache, before you see the new website. When you see something like this:
you’ll know you’re at the new site.
EMAIL 2
GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE – Logging In
As a property owner in Loma Linda, you have access to a portal expressly for Owners. The Owner portal is where you will pay your dues or access the directory.
How do you log in?
Click “Owner Login” in the upper right.
Your email address is your login. You will be prompted to create a password the first time you log in.
NOTE: We created your account with the email address we had on file for you. If you have more than one email address, we may have used a secondary email address for you if it was in our records. Try it, if the first email address you entered doesn’t work or recognize you.
If you’re still having trouble logging in, send a message to lomalindapagosa@gmail.com with your question and we’ll help you get in. Just supply the email address you want to use as your login in that message to us.
A couple of other sticking points:
If you are a couple that shares an email address, that address can only be used for one of you logging in. We will need a second email address for the other person in your household (or we can make up a fake email address for you, just to serve as your login).
If we did not have an email address for you, we created a dummy address. It is non-working and is just a placeholder until we get a working email for you. Again, message us at lomalindapagosa@gmail.com and we’ll work with you individually to get you logged in.

GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE – Is it Safe?
In today’s day and age, we all must be concerned with cyber security. This was important to your Board as we searched for providers of our new web presence.
EasyHOA is based out of St. George, UT. They have over 900 HOA websites, most, of course, larger, and more complex than ours.
All EasyHOA data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and is encrypted in transit and at rest, using Google’s enterprise-grade security standards. Login sessions are device-specific and automatically expire based on security rules or inactivity.
Any company that deals in financial commerce on the web must have something called PCI compliance. It is a global set of security rules to ensure that any business that accepts, processes, stores, or transmits financial data does so in a highly secure environment. It is a set of standards that protect us, as consumers, from data theft, financial fraud, and identity theft. For payments, EasyHOA integrates with a company called Payrix, a third party payment processor, which is fully PCI compliant. EasyHOA itself does not store bank account numbers, credit card numbers or payment credentials.

GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE – Set up your Directory Listing
Once you get logged in with your email and have set up your password, you may want to try out some of the features – like the directory.
Find “Directory” in the left hand menu (on a computer) or under the “hamburger” in the upper left on your phone. By default all emails and phone numbers are hidden.
Note that near the top of the directory you can toggle a switch to “Show my name and address,” giving you the opportunity to show or hide your name from the directory. Also there are options to “Show my email” and “Show my phone number.”
If you are a two-person household, you might note that one person is designated as the primary owner and one is the additional owner. These are roles that EasyHOA has programmed into their software and there is no practical difference in the two designations as far as we use this program.
EMAIL 5
GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE – Check the Latest News and Events
Check news about Loma Linda under the pulldown menu, cleverly called “News” at the top of the page. If something is extremely important – like a fire – we will try to get that on the front page quickly.
Also we will list any HOA events under the “Events” menu.
Documents are placed under, you guessed it, the “Documents” menu. Certain documents are posted on the public-facing website. These are things that potential homeowners might find of benefit, like the covenants or our Welcome Packet. But there are also documents that will be posted under your Owner portal that you can see once you log in. These are things like financials and minutes that are not necessarily of benefit to a non-homeowner.
Things will continue to be built out as we go along.
EMAIL 6
GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR WEBSITE – What Else do you Need?
So that’s kind of the 50 cent tour of our new website. Please let the Board know if there are other resources you would find of benefit. It is a fluid site and luckily is now easier to manage and update for your board.
When it gets time to pay dues, we’ll provide some other prompts and information to help you through that process.
You can contact us through the Contact pull down menu or at lomalindapagosa@gmail.com with your ideas.
