Bartlett Tree Experts did a fantastic job surveying all the trees within Campmeeting and cataloging them in ArborScope.
Every tree over 6" in diameter was
- Assigned a specific number,
- Labeled with tree details, and
- Assessed for general health.

You can also see other information which may be entered about the tree by selecting "Tree Observations" on the page.
This survey will be continually updated over the coming years.
As you review the survey, please remember that cottage owners are responsible for all the trees on their property. MGCA is reviewing the condition of trees on Campmeeting property and will work with Bartlett to address any concerns. Members are asked to review the "health" of the trees on their property and consider the potential for property damage if dead trees are not removed.

If you are interested in checking the information about a tree, the easiest method is to use the tree tag number. The ArborScope tag is the one that is attached to a nail a few inches from the tree, not the one that is affixed directly on the bark. Tags resting against the bark of our trees are from a tree inventory conducted many years ago.
On the ArborScope site, enter the tree number into the "View by Tree ID" box and press the "Filter Trees" button. Click on the tree number on the map to see the Tree Detail Sheet for that tree.
Some tipes for using the interactive map:
- You can choose either the "Map" or "Satellite" image as your background. The "Map" view is from Google Maps and is extremely inaccurate. You can use the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out.
- The locations shown in the Satellite view are also not completely accurate, as the images are plotted on Google Maps. The satellite view can be somewhat challenging to use because of the density of the trees.
- The default map view shows all the surveyed trees, regardless of their condition. To turn off one or more of the layers, simply click on the color button for Good, Fair, Poor, or Dead.
