Building permits may be required by the MGCA Rules & Regulations for the following types of improvements:

1. Building, remodeling or renovation of property (See Rule #10),
2. Enclosure of a porch (See Rule #11),
3. Improvement or repair of sewer and water lines (See Rule #13), or
4. Installation of a fence, wall, or any structure that may function as a fence or wall (See Rule #19).

To determine if your project needs a building permit, please read the appropriate rule from the Rules & Regulations handbook, consult the Building Permit Policy, or contact the office.

An easement may be required if the project encroaches on Campmeeting property. See the Easement Policy.

Construction must comply with the established Quiet Hours and Quiet Season as established by the Rules & Regulations.

To submit a building permit, log into the Owner Portal on the MGCA.org website. Choose "Requests" from the left menu, creating a "New Request" and selecting "Building Permit" from the drop-down menu.

All required building permits are subject to a $50 application fee.
